De hecho, identificar las ubicaciones m\u00e1s adecuadas requiere conocer una gran cantidad de caracter\u00edsticas propias del lugar en cuesti\u00f3n. Algunas de ellas son normativas: &quot;\u00bfEstamos lo suficientemente lejos de la ciudad m\u00e1s cercana?&quot;, &quot;\u00bfQu\u00e9 grado de protecci\u00f3n natural se exige a esta zona?&quot;. Otras son pr\u00e1cticas: &quot;\u00bfEs el terreno apto para la construcci\u00f3n?&quot;, &quot;\u00bfRecibe esta zona suficiente viento para que un nuevo aerogenerador sea rentable?&quot;. Responder con precisi\u00f3n a estas preguntas, seg\u00fan lo prescrito por las partes interesadas clave, es fundamental para el \u00e9xito de cualquier gran proyecto de construcci\u00f3n. En este proyecto, recurrimos a datos clim\u00e1ticos, im\u00e1genes de observaci\u00f3n de la Tierra y normativas para identificar eficazmente las zonas de Salzburgo que cumpl\u00edan unos criterios predefinidos. Este es un ejemplo paradigm\u00e1tico de c\u00f3mo se puede aprovechar el big data para un caso pr\u00e1ctico real y ofrece una visi\u00f3n de las diversas consideraciones que deben tenerse en cuenta en cada etapa del proceso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Obtenci\u00f3n de los datos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Naturalmente, el primer paso para cualquier tarea que busque aprovechar conjuntos de datos geoespaciales para responder a una pregunta pr\u00e1ctica o comercial es obtener los datos. Como cualquier cient\u00edfico de datos sabe, este es el paso m\u00e1s cr\u00edtico: todos los problemas que surgen se derivan, en \u00faltima instancia, de las decisiones tomadas. Al desarrollar una soluci\u00f3n para una aplicaci\u00f3n comercial, es especialmente importante que los datos obtenidos no solo sean precisos, sino que, idealmente, est\u00e9n certificados por las autoridades competentes. Un mapa detallado de informaci\u00f3n de zonificaci\u00f3n, por ejemplo, carece de valor si no se puede certificar que proviene directamente de la autoridad competente. Por esta raz\u00f3n, las fuentes de datos oficiales son de gran valor, ya que proporcionan no solo la informaci\u00f3n veraz necesaria, sino tambi\u00e9n legitimidad a cualquier conclusi\u00f3n o predicci\u00f3n que se pueda extraer de ellas. En este proyecto, la Bundesamt f\u00fcr Eich- und Vermessungswesen (Oficina Federal de Metrolog\u00eda y Topograf\u00eda) de Austria, as\u00ed como el recurso de datos abiertos del gobierno (OGD) proporcionado por el estado de Salzburgo, sirvieron como una excelente base para el desarrollo de nuestro estudio territorial pr\u00e1ctico de parques e\u00f3licos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aprovechar los conocimientos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como ya se mencion\u00f3, la identificaci\u00f3n de emplazamientos ideales para la construcci\u00f3n de nuevos parques e\u00f3licos se desglosa en una serie de criterios cuantificables que proporcionan una caracterizaci\u00f3n binaria de una zona de inter\u00e9s determinada (&quot;Apta para la construcci\u00f3n de un parque e\u00f3lico&quot;, &quot;No apta para la construcci\u00f3n de un parque e\u00f3lico&quot;). Por lo tanto, el incumplimiento de cualquiera de estos criterios resultar\u00eda en que la zona se descartara en cualquier an\u00e1lisis posterior. Esta metodolog\u00eda permite un esquema de clasificaci\u00f3n r\u00e1pido y sencillo para identificar la idoneidad de una regi\u00f3n para la construcci\u00f3n de un parque e\u00f3lico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La implementaci\u00f3n del proceso descrito anteriormente se puede desglosar de la siguiente manera:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En primer lugar, cada criterio se asoci\u00f3 con una fuente de datos que proporcion\u00f3 suficiente informaci\u00f3n de base para responder a esta pregunta de forma afirmativa o negativa. Posteriormente, se proces\u00f3 la informaci\u00f3n de base asociada para clasificar la idoneidad de cada regi\u00f3n de Salzburgo con respecto a dicho criterio. De esta forma, se gener\u00f3 una capa vectorial para cada criterio, clasificando las zonas de Salzburgo en regiones &quot;aptas&quot; o &quot;no aptas&quot;. A continuaci\u00f3n, analizaremos brevemente la generaci\u00f3n de dos de estas capas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Identificaci\u00f3n de \u00e1reas residenciales<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Uno de los criterios clave para la construcci\u00f3n de un nuevo parque e\u00f3lico es que se encuentre a una distancia adecuada de las principales zonas residenciales. Cumplir con este criterio es necesario en la mayor\u00eda de las zonas debido a la normativa gubernamental vigente para abordar las preocupaciones relacionadas con la contaminaci\u00f3n ac\u00fastica, la planificaci\u00f3n urbana y el impacto visual de estas instalaciones. Esto ofrece un punto de partida prometedor, pero a\u00fan quedan varias preguntas por resolver para transformar esta informaci\u00f3n en la capa de clasificaci\u00f3n binaria adecuada. En concreto, \u00bfc\u00f3mo se puede distinguir claramente entre una ciudad, que aparece aqu\u00ed como una agrupaci\u00f3n compacta de pol\u00edgonos, y dos casas solitarias en un campo? En este caso, recurrimos al algoritmo de agrupamiento espacial basado en la densidad, que proporciona una clasificaci\u00f3n intuitiva basada en la densidad de un \u00e1rea en &quot;residencial&quot; o &quot;no residencial&quot; seg\u00fan la densidad de estos pol\u00edgonos estructurales y su n\u00famero de vecinos. De esta manera, podemos lograr, por ejemplo, la siguiente clasificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1063\" height=\"659\" src=\"https:\/\/flypix.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Identifying-Residential-Areas_3.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-177457\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns single_post_columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-ec2e7a44 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Identificaci\u00f3n de regiones de nivel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Otro criterio importante para cualquier proyecto de construcci\u00f3n es que el terreno tenga la pendiente adecuada. En general, los proyectos de construcci\u00f3n deben construirse nivelados para proporcionar una cimentaci\u00f3n adecuada para la estructura planificada. A partir de cierta pendiente, los costos de nivelaci\u00f3n del \u00e1rea se vuelven prohibitivos e impiden la viabilidad del proyecto. Afortunadamente, existen datos r\u00e1ster de c\u00f3digo abierto, obtenidos a partir de levantamientos realizados con mediciones l\u00e1ser, con una resoluci\u00f3n de 5 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este caso, dado que se trata de datos r\u00e1ster y no vectoriales, la conversi\u00f3n de esta capa a una m\u00e1scara de clasificaci\u00f3n binaria es un poco m\u00e1s compleja. Esto se logr\u00f3 definiendo un \u00e1ngulo umbral por encima del cual un punto de inter\u00e9s se consideraba &quot;demasiado empinado&quot;. Se consultaron los datos r\u00e1ster para todas estas regiones, se extrajeron estas regiones a vectores con OpenCV y se aplicaron umbrales a las \u00e1reas extra\u00eddas para obtener la clasificaci\u00f3n deseada.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:35px;padding-bottom:0\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"908\" height=\"874\" src=\"https:\/\/flypix.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Identifying-Level-Regions.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-177452\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusi\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras extraer con \u00e9xito una m\u00e1scara de clasificaci\u00f3n binaria para cada uno de los criterios que definen la idoneidad de una regi\u00f3n para la construcci\u00f3n de un parque e\u00f3lico, su integraci\u00f3n es sencilla: basta con combinar todas las m\u00e1scaras de clasificaci\u00f3n en una sola.
