Cette technologie a r\u00e9volutionn\u00e9 notre fa\u00e7on de voir et de comprendre notre plan\u00e8te en nous permettant d&#039;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 de vastes quantit\u00e9s d&#039;informations sur la surface et l&#039;atmosph\u00e8re terrestres. La t\u00e9l\u00e9d\u00e9tection a parcouru un long chemin depuis ses d\u00e9buts, et dans cet article, nous examinerons de plus pr\u00e8s son histoire et l&#039;\u00e9volution de la r\u00e9solution des images satellite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;histoire de la t\u00e9l\u00e9d\u00e9tection remonte au milieu du XIXe si\u00e8cle, lorsque les premi\u00e8res photographies a\u00e9riennes furent prises depuis des montgolfi\u00e8res. Landsat 1 a \u00e9t\u00e9 le premier satellite d&#039;observation terrestre explicitement con\u00e7u pour \u00e9tudier la plan\u00e8te Terre. IKONOS \u00e9tait le premier satellite commercial \u00e0 offrir des images haute r\u00e9solution (r\u00e9solution panchromatique de 0,80 m\u00e8tre au nadir) et \u00e9tait principalement utilis\u00e9 pour la cartographie urbaine et rurale, la surveillance environnementale et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 nationale. En 2013, Landsat 8 \u00e9tait lanc\u00e9, offrant des r\u00e9solutions spatiales panchromatique de 15 m\u00e8tres et multispectrale de 30 m\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le programme Sentinel a \u00e9galement contribu\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re significative \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9d\u00e9tection. Lanc\u00e9 par l&#039;Agence spatiale europ\u00e9enne (ESA) en partenariat avec la Commission europ\u00e9enne, il comprenait une constellation de satellites appel\u00e9s Sentinelles, qui fournissaient des images haute r\u00e9solution de la surface et de l&#039;atmosph\u00e8re terrestres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les satellites Sentinel embarquaient une gamme de capteurs, notamment radar, optiques et thermiques, qui fournissaient des images haute r\u00e9solution de la surface terrestre.
