Het biedt vooraf getrainde API&#039;s voor gezichtsdetectie, objectherkenning, tekstextractie, contentmoderatie en het trainen van aangepaste labels. De service schaalt automatisch en de kosten worden berekend op basis van het volume, beginnend bij $0.00001 per afbeelding voor de eerste miljoen verwerkte afbeeldingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon Rekognition werd in 2016 gelanceerd als AWS&#039; antwoord op de groeiende behoefte aan toegankelijke computervisiestechnologie. Het is ontworpen om een specifiek probleem op te lossen: de meeste ontwikkelaars hebben mogelijkheden voor beeld- en videoanalyse nodig, maar beschikken niet over de tijd, het budget of de expertise om machine learning-modellen helemaal zelf te bouwen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De dienst draait volledig in de cloud. Je stuurt afbeeldingen of video&#039;s via API-aanroepen en Rekognition retourneert gestructureerde gegevens over wat er is gedetecteerd: gezichten, objecten, tekst, ongepaste inhoud, wat je maar zoekt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het zit echter wel zo: Rekognition is geen monolithisch hulpmiddel. Elke categorie bevat meerdere gespecialiseerde API&#039;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kenmerken van beeldanalyse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De beeldanalysefunctie verwerkt statische afbeeldingen. Volgens de offici\u00eble documentatie moeten objecten en gezichten minimaal 5% van de kortste afmeting van de afbeelding beslaan voor betrouwbare detectie. Voor een afbeelding van 1600\u00d7900 pixels komt dat neer op minimaal 45 pixels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Labeldetectie identificeert objecten, sc\u00e8nes, activiteiten en concepten in afbeeldingen. Het geeft een betrouwbaarheidsscore voor elke detectie, meestal tussen 0 en 100. Contentmoderatie scant op ongepaste of ongewenste inhoud in meerdere categorie\u00ebn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gezichtsdetectie en -analyse kunnen gezichten in afbeeldingen identificeren en kenmerken extraheren zoals geschatte leeftijd, waargenomen geslacht, emoties en of de persoon een bril draagt. Gezichtsvergelijking meet de gelijkenis tussen twee gezichten, terwijl gezichtszoekfunctie gedetecteerde gezichten vergelijkt met een opgeslagen verzameling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tekstdetectie extraheert gedrukte en handgeschreven tekst uit afbeeldingen \u2013 handig voor documentverwerking, herkenning van straatnaamborden en soortgelijke toepassingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Video-analysefuncties<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Videoanalyse werkt anders. Je kunt opgeslagen video&#039;s asynchroon verwerken of streaming video in realtime analyseren. Het systeem detecteert personen, volgt hun bewegingen, herkent objecten en activiteiten en identificeert wanneer sc\u00e8nes veranderen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voor segmentdetectie kunt u de resultaten filteren op basis van een betrouwbaarheidsdrempel. Een 70%-filter met minimale betrouwbaarheid wordt vaak gebruikt om een balans te vinden tussen nauwkeurigheid en dekking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maar wacht even. Amazon biedt vanaf 30 april 2026 geen streaming video-analyse en batchgewijze beeldmoderatie meer aan nieuwe klanten aan. De functie analyseert korte selfievideo&#039;s om te bepalen of er een echt persoon te zien is of dat er gebruik wordt gemaakt van een foto, een vooraf opgenomen video, een 3D-masker of een deepfake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het systeem detecteert presentatieaanvallen (geprinte foto&#039;s, digitale schermen, papieren maskers die voor de camera worden getoond) en bypass-aanvallen (vooraf opgenomen of synthetische video&#039;s die in de videostream worden ge\u00efnjecteerd). Het systeem geeft een instelbare betrouwbaarheidsscore van 0 tot 100 terug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deze functionaliteit integreert met React-webapplicaties, native iOS-apps en native Android-apps. Er is geen infrastructuurbeheer nodig; alles wordt volledig beheerd door AWS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Labels op maat voor gespecialiseerde herkenning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De voorgeprogrammeerde modellen werken goed voor algemene toepassingen. Maar hoe zit het met gespecialiseerde scenario&#039;s, zoals het detecteren van specifieke voertuigmodellen, het identificeren van fabricagefouten of het herkennen van merkeigen producten?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daar komen aangepaste labels van pas. U levert trainingsafbeeldingen aan met labels in uw eigen categorie\u00ebn, en Rekognition bouwt een model dat is afgestemd op uw specifieke herkenningsbehoeften.
