Machine learning in Europe has become much more practical. The work is no longer centered only on experiments or impressive demos. Companies are using it for things that need to work every day: spotting objects and anomalies, forecasting demand, processing documents, monitoring equipment, analyzing large datasets, and automating tasks that used to take a lot of manual effort.
