The programme brings together the Financial Times’ renowned media expertise with Google’s cutting-edge technological capabilities.
GeoAI—combining geospatial data, artificial intelligence, and satellite imagery—is already reshaping how investigative journalists uncover hidden stories. One of the 2024 Pulitzer Prize-winning investigations notably used these satellite imagery analysis AI tools to expose critical insights and reveal truths invisible to the naked eye.
Being selected for the AI Launchpad is a strong endorsement of FlyPix.ai’s mission: to make Earth observation data more accessible, actionable, and impactful. As part of the programme, FlyPix.ai will collaborate with media partners to explore innovative ways to use GeoAI in storytelling, investigation, and public interest reporting.
